These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Editorify website at editorify.com, the Editorify dashboard at apps.editorify.com, the Editorify app, browser extension, WordPress plugin, storefront review widgets, support services, and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Importify Limited (“Editorify”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing the website, creating an account, installing the app, extension or plugin, connecting a store, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, the security of your login credentials, and all activity under your account.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
2. What Editorify provides
Editorify helps merchants import product reviews from supported marketplaces, collect reviews from their own customers, and display reviews on stores built on Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.
Features, plan limits, and supported marketplaces and platforms may change from time to time.
3. Third-party platforms and marketplaces
Editorify connects with third-party ecommerce platforms and marketplaces. We do not own or control them or their policies.
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms, policies, and intellectual property rules of every platform and marketplace you use, including the marketplaces you import reviews from.
Editorify does not guarantee that any review, image, video, rating, or other imported content is accurate, lawful, available, or suitable for use on your store.
4. Merchant responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your store, your products, your customer relationships, and your compliance with applicable laws, including consumer protection, advertising, and data protection laws.
You are solely responsible for the reviews you import, collect, edit, and display, including reviewer names, dates, ratings, photos, and videos. You must have the right to use that content, and you must not use the Service to publish fake, misleading, or deceptive reviews.
If you use review request emails, you are responsible for having the right to contact your customers and for the content of those emails.
You are responsible for checking content before publishing it. Editorify tools assist your workflow; they do not replace your own legal or compliance review.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes:
- using the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or infringing activity;
- attempting to access accounts, systems, data, or areas of the Service without authorization;
- interfering with the security, stability, or performance of the Service;
- copying, reselling, sublicensing, or reverse engineering the Service except where permitted by law;
- uploading malware, harmful code, or content that violates third-party rights.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Paid features require a subscription. Pricing, plan limits, billing intervals, and included features vary by plan and platform.
Depending on your platform, billing, cancellation, and payment processing are handled by your platform’s app billing system (such as Shopify or Wix) or by PayPro Global.
Fees are not refundable, except where the law or the rules of your billing platform require a refund. You can cancel at any time through the cancellation process for your billing channel; cancellation stops future charges.
7. Store connections and permissions
To use the Service you need to connect your store and grant the app access to it. You authorize Editorify to use that access to provide the Service.
You are responsible for managing access to your store and for removing the app when you no longer want Editorify to access it.
8. Service changes and availability
We may add, remove, suspend, limit, or modify features from time to time. Some features depend on third-party websites, browsers, platform APIs, and marketplaces, and those may change without notice.
We try to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, website, software, design, text, graphics, logos, and documentation are owned by Editorify or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own ecommerce business.
10. Your content and store data
You retain ownership of the content and data you submit, import, edit, or publish through the Service. You grant Editorify the rights needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content and data as necessary to provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
You represent that you have the rights required to use any content or data you provide to the Service.
11. Privacy and data protection
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.
Where Editorify processes personal data of your store’s customers and reviewers on your behalf and data protection law such as the GDPR applies, our Data Processing Agreement applies and forms part of these Terms.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Editorify disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.
Editorify does not guarantee store revenue, sales results, conversion rates, search rankings, or the accuracy or legality of imported content.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Editorify will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, including loss of revenue, loss of customers, store suspension, platform or marketplace enforcement, claims about review content, or data loss.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Editorify’s total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Editorify for the Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Editorify harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your store, products, customers, the reviews and other content you import, collect or display, the emails sent on your behalf, misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, create risk for Editorify or other users, misuse the Service, or if a platform or legal requirement requires us to do so.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Where permitted by law, disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the competent courts of Hong Kong. Either party may seek urgent injunctive or equitable relief in any competent court to protect intellectual property, confidential information, security, or platform access.
To the extent permitted by law, any claim relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought within 12 months after the event giving rise to it.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new update date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
